Reason for rescue request::
Due to unforseen circumstances beyond my control i have to sadly let my 2 wei’s be adopted – i will be moving into a much smaller place.

It breaks my heart but this is my very last option – Frankie and Max are well behaved and are house trained – i would prefer/recommend the family, who do adopt Frankie and Max do not have any small children, as they are not quite accustomed to little people.

I would love Frankie and Max to go to a loving knowleagble home together, i would prefer not to seperate them as they are a couple

Frankie is 2 1/2 and loves the ball – Max is 1 and still a young fun loving male

I AM NOT SURE IF HE IS THROUGHT BRED. HE WAS BOUGHT FROM A PET SHOP AT THE GLEN SHOPPING CENTRE AND GIVEN TO ME AS A PRESENT BY MY CHILDREN.

I am desperately seeking a home for a 3 year old male (neutered) Weimaraner.  He is a friend of mines dog.  He is unable to care for him any longer as he is unemployed and had to move in to a flat with no yard.  I have taken him for the meantime until we are able to find a home for him but he is upsetting the apple cart a little with my 2 dogs.

He has a beautiful nature and wants only to be close to someone.  Extremely alert and energetic.  I have a female Great Dane, just gone 6 months old and has not been spayed yet so he is constantly wanting to mate with her.  She is very scared of him because he is extremely playful and my two are just very lazy and not used to such playfulness.  As a result of my Dane being so petrified of him I have to keep him separated from the others and this is breaking my heart.

I would appreciate it if you could possibly assist me in finding Gunther a good home.  I am a little pressed for time as I am going on holiday in 3 weeks and really would not like him to be locked up in the back year and separated from my two.

He is pedigree but not registered, he apparently started life on a farm with his owners taking him on hunts etc and is used to running behind the bakkie and he is not perturbed by loud noises at all.

I really hope you are able to assist me.

Please let me know if you know of anyone who is able to provide him with a stable, loving home.

Temperament : He is very loyal and sweet. He is okay with other dogs. Not fine with cats. He is a big dog. Healthy

Story : He was a “guard dog” for a company and was there for his whole life. They decided to sell the plot where the company was, broke the buildings down and moved to a game farm. They just left poor bones there. A kind woman has taken him into his home for now but could only keep him until the end of this weekend past. He was locked up in a small enclosure during the day and left out at night on the plot…

PS: I got him yesterday and he is far from a guard dog. He is very alert and barks, but is not aggressive at all and gets so happy when he sees people… Very very sweet and extremely playful. He does not jump and sits right in front of you when you want to give him attention. He is extremely sweet

Jasper is a one year old, purebred Weimeraner. I am having to rehome him as I breed cats and he does not get along with cats at all – so no home with cats please. He is fine with other dogs. He is very affectionate but has very bad manners and will require a patient owner that can teach him discipline. He does not chew, nor is destructive, he just needs to learn to obey orders. He is an excellent watchdog, highly alert and never barks unless he has cause. This is a very hard decision I have had to make, and will only let him go to the right home.
